By Michael McKeon, ABC News (Auckland, New Zealand) – A driver for Sonos was killed after a car carrying a shipment of tapsioca was struck by a Tropical Express Express Express car in Sydney, police said.
Police said the driver of the Tropical Express car was found dead in the passenger seat.
Police say the car was headed towards the city from Hobart and was headed for the CBD on the Gold Coast.
Police said there was no evidence to suggest the vehicle had been tampered with.
A spokeswoman for the Transport Department said there were no further details to be released at this time.
The vehicle was heading to the CBD for a distribution centre for Tropical Express, which has about 1,600 deliveries a day in the region, according to the company.
It is a move that would normally take three weeks, but is now in the pipeline, spokeswoman Lisa Stacey said.
