The US Postal Service (USPS) announced this week that it will start using the bitcoin payment option, along with other options such as PayPal and MasterCard, in the US.
“The US government has been working closely with bitcoin for several years, with support coming from the White House and Treasury Department,” the USPS wrote on its website.”USPS now supports bitcoin payment as a payment option for its services.”
The US postal system, which is the largest in the world, has been using bitcoin since 2017.
In April 2018, the postal service launched its first bitcoin payment processor, called the BitPay.
In August, it started accepting bitcoins as payment on its USPS Express service.
In September, the US Postal Inspection Service also started accepting bitcoin as a form of payment for its mail services.USPS said it will accept bitcoin as “a method of payment that can be securely deposited, checked, and deposited back to the USPS” in the future.
“We are committed to developing the technology to better serve our customers, and to the US postal market, and we are excited about our partnership with bitcoin,” the USPS said.
“As we have done with other digital currencies in the past, we will continue to work with the U.S. Postal Service to ensure that its customers receive the best possible service.”
The USPS will accept both credit cards and debit cards as payment methods.
The Postal Service said that it is also using other payment methods, such as Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin.
“With Bitcoin Cash, our customer service agents can send a gift card to anyone in the U,D.C., or other U.N. Member States who pays using a Bitcoin Cash or Bitcoin, without requiring any additional payment,” the company wrote.
“If a customer has a Bitcoin balance, the customer will receive a Bitcoin cash gift card immediately.”USPS also said it has opened its first U.K. branch.
The postal service said that customers who have been waiting for delivery will be able to order packages by October.US postal customers can now pay for their packages using bitcoin.
US postal customers are able to purchase goods from a USPS store using bitcoin or a digital currency.
